It was partially a matter of convenience. Love your neighbor® and all that crap. All that stuff you saw stamped on the TOTU-issued cereal boxes in the burned out office buildings — where a whole hell of a lot of confused and scared people, like rats, took shelter for a while as the cities’ and humanity’s conceptual framework was “shooken up” as Elder Incognito Wendy’s Amstel-Light used to always say whenever s/he saw the two playing together. It was hir way of celebrating, to burst out of their tiny one-room RV saying something along the lines of:

“Shoulda listened! We all shoulda listened!”

“Listened to what Grand-Persoms?

“Just shoulda listened, that’s all!”
